Public Health Researcher Career and Public Health Training
Abstract
In the last decades it was obvious an increasing need for public health research expertise; but the preoccupation of the society for recruiting, motivating, keeping of the professionals in the public health research field was it in the same extent increasing?
It is important to analyze in which extent the public health curriculum, the training process, the training and job opportunities, the freedom in deciding the themes offer a true support for developing the research career in public health and in which extent the public health researchers perceive the effectiveness of their profession or can advocate themselves and their work.
